Welcome to Our Hidden Village

The Wild Flower Cottage/ 10 and the Tinyhouse/ 11 have the biggest beautiful garden with stunning views of the surrounding hills and meadows. The cottage consists of one double bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room. A separate walkway, towards the back of the garden with private access, leads to two newly built tiny-houses, each with a double loft bed and sleeper sofa. The houses are ideal for larger families, friends or team buildings as they can accommodate up to 12 people.

The space
The Wild Flower Cottage hosts a bedroom, with a double bed and a living room with a sleeper sofa, toilette, bathroom and a kitchenette. The original wooden beams, traditional porch, and meticulously restored furniture all enhance its unique atmosphere, where every corner tells a story, awaiting the addition of your own. This cottage offers a unique experience, complete with a cozy fireplace where you can unwind, get lost in a good book, and soak in the tranquility of rural Transylvania.

The two separate tiny-house units at the end of the garden feature a contemporary design, while incorporating traditional materials wherever possible. They are designed with panoramic windows to maximize views with a compact, yet cozy living area, with the bed in a mezzanine reached by a ladder, a sleeper sofa and have options to take inside and outside showers.

The houses are fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and peace of mind. Our amenities include Wi-Fi, barbecue area and a spacious yard where the breathtaking experience of peace and fresh air awaits you.

They are located within 800m from the main barn, which accommodates the reception and a coffee bar.

Guest access
Guests have full and private access to the houses during their stay, as well as to the main Barn converted into a reception area and a coffee bar.

Other things to note
We support local producers, which is why we strive to make our traditional breakfast using ingredients sourced from them. We serve our traditional breakfast either at the houses or in the reception barn, upon prior request and for an additional fee.

A variety of activities are available within and around the village, ranging from horse-riding, wildlife walks, bicycle tours, to bread-baking and wine tasting. Children especially like riding in farm carts and seeing the animals. We are more than happy to suggest various activities in the area that may be of interest to you.

Parking is available in front of the house along the street and/or at the yard.
The houses all have fast Wi-Fi but mobile phone signal is very patchy in the village, reflecting its isolation. 

The Abod Retreat holiday homes are located at different points in the village, not far from each other, with a total capacity of 48 guests. We designed our main Barn in such a way that it is also suitable for events, such as corporate retreats, family celebrations, or unique thematic events.
